Wigan RSPB Local Group Venue Change

Wigan RSPB Local Group Venue Change

The season of illustrated talks about wildlife, arranged by Wigan RSPB Local Group, will this year be held at St Anne's Church Hall, Shevington starting on Tuesday 9 September giving easy access to people living in Shevington and other districts to the north and west of Wigan.

There is also plenty of parking space at the venue.

The meetings, which are open to everyone, are held on the second Tuesday of the month from September to April and a nationally recognised speaker presents an illustrated talk on his specialist subject. The refreshment break gives people chance to meet others with similar interests and to learn more about the activities of the Local Group including its varied programme of visits to bird sites.

There is no need to book as a charge of just £2.00 is payable at the door.

Full details of the Group's programme is published in Events section of this web site which also has a map of how to find the new venue.
