A departure from our usual type of outing provided a most interesting half day visit to a farm which operates under the Environmental and Countryside Stewardship Schemes. The farm had won a plaque from the BBC programme 'Country File' for the efforts to protect wildlife and it will feature in the RSPB Regional 'Farmland Birds Week' next year. More...
