Christmas Social Evening 2010

This years Christmas Social was even more successful than last years event when the group held its first photographic competition. This year the competition was repeated, with even more entries with a very high standard of photographs, again the subject of the photographic competition was 'UK Natural History'. Each member voted on their top three entries and subjects included birds, landscapes, insects and mammals. This year members voted the waxwing posing very nicely in Bracknell as their favourite. We plan to run the competition again next December and we may well have to create categories for the subjects due to the diversity of and quality of the entries. So once again make sure you have your camera with you when you are out and about.
The photographic competion was followed by our annual pub style quiz with an excellent food feast provided by the members.
