The Berkshire DownsBury and Cow Downs map reference SU479840
The downs have regular visits from Short Eared Owls in the winter and lagre flocks of finches and buntings on the stubble fields. Harriers, kites, buzzards, merlins and kestrels are common residents or visitors passing through in spring and autumn. A great place for a walk as well.
There is a car park on the Ridgeway track left off the A34 north from the M4.
