Full weekend coach trip departing Saturday morning and arriving back in Wolverhampton on Sunday evening. On Saturday we will visit RSPB Lakenheath in search of Golden Oriole and Common Crane as well as excellent chances of Marsh Harrier and Bittern. Possible opportunity to find Stone Curlew en-route.

After a night at the Bell Hotel Thetford we will depart on Sunday morning for RSPB Minsmere where we hope to see Cuckoo and rarer migrant birds, good chance of Bittern and other less common species.

Nightjar walk

Location: Meet at Springslade Lodge cafe car-park. Parking also possible at nearby Katyn Memorial.
Do not leave valuables in car at this venue.

Informal late evening walk on Cannock Chase in search of elusive Nightjar and Woodcock. In 2011 we managed a brief glimpse of the bird even in unfavourable conditions.
Warm clothing essential, stout footwear advised.
