Perton woodlands

Perton is a village about 5 miles from Wolverhampton. The young River Penk runs through the village and feeds 2 lakes. A Kingfisher is a regular sight. A range of managed and scrub woodlands provides habitat for a variety of passerines including most of the Tit family, finches, Goldcrests, woodpeckers and summer visitors such as Blackcap. Yellowhammer and Barn Owl are easily possible in the fields near " Brownies" nursery.
