Trip reports
Tichfield Haven

Saturday, 10 March 2007
This was the Group's first trip to Tichfield Haven, a NNR in the Lower Meon Valley in Hampshire. It has a wide variey of habitats including reedbeds, woodland, scrub, flood meadows and scrapes. 50 different birds were seen including Med gull, black-tailed godwits, avocets, shelduck and the first chiff-chaff of the year. A fine reserve well worth a visit.
