Why we want you

In order to assist the work programme and help to implement the reserve management plan on this internationally important reserve.

What’s in it for you?

During your stay, you will become a member of the reserve management team with free accommodation. You will contribute to practical conservation and learn about running and managing a nature reserve. This is an excellent chance to make a genuine contribution to wildlife conservation. You will gain a valuable insight into the workings of Europe's largest conservation charity.

The skills you need

Enthusiasm, ability to work as part of a team, interest in conservation and a reasonable level of fitness. Your own transport is required for this reserve and you need to be at least 18 yr old.

Your time

Minimum commitment: 1 week Saturday to Saturday

Residential volunteers assist with habitat and species management, research, survey and monitoring, estate management, species protection and visitor centre work. Appropriate training will be provided and expenses will be re-imbursed where necessary.
