Conwy

A safe haven on the North West Wales coast for thousands of waders, and for your class!

A network of lagoons, islands, ponds, reedbeds and grassland wait for your class at our nature reserve on the Conwy estuary.

The whole reserve is rich in wildlife – many different species of birds are attracted to the diverse habitats, and the reserve is also home to a huge variety of plants, minibeasts and mammals.

It's a great place for children – and teachers! – to explore.

There are three birdwatching hides and an indoor classroom which can be used in the event of bad weather.

It was an excellent day and the children thoroughly enjoyed themselves and learnt so much.
