Dungeness

Pupils will be inspired by wildlife with fun, educational activities in this unique shingle habitat

Bring your class to the largest shingle formation of its kind in Europe and an area famous for its rich variety of animal and plant life.

You and your pupils could enjoy seeing migrating birds arriving in the spring, ponds teeming with water life and amazing plants in the summer, autumnal minibeasts or flooded pits covered with ducks, swans and geese in winter.

You can bring up to 60 children. Your class will be split into groups of around 15 children per RSPB field teacher.

Why not book a field teacher to visit your school? We can work with you to devise a session to suit your particular needs.
