Mersehead

Children are led on an exciting voyage of shared discovery and learning

Set between the beautiful Solway coastline and rolling, heather-clad hills, Mersehead is a haven for wildlife, supporting huge numbers of birds, flowering plants and invertebrates.

We are well equipped for schools, with pond and minibeast areas, bird hides, visitor centre and our education building 'The Sulwath Centre' with indoor and outdoor classrooms.

With its abundant wildlife and variety of habitats to investigate, this really is the ideal place for children to explore and discover more about nature.

The staff have been very well organised and have planned a great educational day. I was really impressed that the day was linked with the children's class topic. A fantastic day, thank you so much!
