About

Devon's a great place to discover nature. The Exe Estuary provides close encounters with flocks of ducks and waders - come and see on one of our famous Avocet Cruises.

We've worked with landowners and farmers to rescue the cirl bunting from UK extinction. Numbers are up 600 per cent; our new reserve, Labrador Bay, will be a fantastic place to see them. On Lundy, we're part of the Seabird Recovery Project that's helped seabirds return.

We protect the county's beautiful heathlands - come along to the annual Heath Week to experience their special flora and fauna. Conserving Dartmoor's wildlife and helping woodland birds are also priorities.

Volunteering

Over 17,000 people around the UK give their time for the RSPB. Listed below are just a few ways you can volunteer in the local area.
