The RSPB are providing residents and visitors to Caister with a special chance to get up close to a breeding colony of little terns, one of the UK’s rarest seabirds.

To mark the beginning of the RSPB’s annual fundraising extravaganza, Love Nature Week, which runs from 28 May – 05 June, a group of dedicated staff members from their Eastern Regional team will be embarking on a sponsored ‘East Coast Challenge’ this Sunday (29 May) to set the fundraising ball rolling.

An RSPB nature reserve in Norfolk has scooped a prestigious architectural award for it’s new wildlife watch point. The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) announced today that RSPB Titchwell Marsh was one of five recipients of the award in the East.
