What will you be doing to keep the kids entertained this December? Well look no further 'cause we have everything you'll need?Last modified: 30 November 2009
On Saturday 5, 12 and 19 December at National Museum Cardiff from 11am until 4pm, RSPB Cymru staff and volunteers will be offering visitors the chance to make festive gifts and decorations that they’ll be able to take home with them. Children and families will also be given exclusive entry into the soon to be closed natural history collection, and will be given a Threatened Species Tour to learn more about the museum exhibits and the RSPB’s campaigns. The tours will start at 12noon and 3pm from the reception area, and will give a rare insight into the museums exhibition. Craig Leitch, People Engagement Officer for RSPB Cymru said: “The fun days are a great opportunity for families to do something together and enjoy being creative, and who knows you might even catch an even rarer glimpse of the man in red!” Full details of the event can be found on www.rspb.org.uk/events or visit www.museumwales.ac.uk/whatson What can I do?Birds of prey continue to be mercilessly killed, despite the fact that it is illegal and has been for decades.
