Spatial plans are important because they determine where future development will go - allocating land for homes, schools, shops, and businesses etc.

We get involved with these to ensure that the locations chosen for development do not harm important wildlife sites.

East Midlands Regional Plan

Thousands of land use planning decisions across the Midlands can help wildlife, or damage it, every year. We strive to influence all of these in a positive way by helping to develop strong policies for wildlife in the East Midlands Regional Plan, which then guide local decisions.
