Saving seabirds on the Shiant Isles
The Shiants are a cluster of tiny Hebridean islands. Hundreds of thousands of seabirds gather here to breed each year. Introduced, non-native black rats feed on the seabirds and their chicks. To protect the existing colony and to encourage Manx shearwaters and storm petrels to breed, we need to take urgent action.
