Water and wetlands

Redshank

Water is a precious resource, but the demands we are placing on our water environment are increasingly unsustainable.

We want to see the UK's water environment guaranteed for the future, by controlling pollution at its source and using our scarce resources wisely.

We are committed to restoring a landscape rich in wetlands to help our wildlife thrive and adapt to a changing climate.

We believe that by understanding and working with nature, we can improve water quality and reduce the threat from flooding in ways that are good for people and wildlife.
