Dee Estuary

Wonderful wetlands and woodland

The Dee Estuary is one of the largest and most important wetland sites in the world. With so many things to experience, where will you start?

It offers great days out, whether you're exploring wildlife-packed bluebell woodlands at Burton Mere, eating an ice-cream on the Prom at Parkgate or taking a bracing walk along the beach at the Point of Ayr. There's even the remains of the Wirral's only Iron Age hill fort! And we hold regular events at all three sites, so come along and say hello.

This is a vitally important and fascinating mosaic of wetland habitats, but there's so much more to discover...
