A buzzards nest in the top of a Scot Pine at Arne.

At our Arne nature reserve

  • The Buzzards are sitting on three eggs. The incubation time is 34 days and we are expecting them to hatch in the first week of May
  • Buzzards build several nests and this is the first time they have used this one for several years
  • Buzzards eat a wide range of food including carrion, small mammals, other birds, reptiles and even earth worms! We will watching what they bring to this nest
  • This is the first time a buzzards nest has been filmed in Dorset
