This truly was the Birthday treat I had hoped for, the Gannets, Razorbills, Kittiwakes and Puffins were stunning. The centre staff were the best I have ever come across, so helpful and friendly. Thank you for a remarkable day!

What a fantastic place with superb views of the many seabirds. The walking was easy even for my disabled wife. Cannot fault the very helpful staff at the visitor centre. We even joined our six year old little girl into the Wildlife Explorers Club, which we thought was good value for money. We will be back very soon to see more of Bempton.

My wife and I were on a weekend in Bridlington and I suggested spending an afternoon at Bempton Cliffs. She was bowled over by the experience. The gannets are awesome and the puffins are adorable. All in all a visit to Bempton Cliffs is a must for anyone with even the mildest interest in wildlife. We shall return.

Visiting the reserve was the reason for our trip. My partner and I stayed in Flamborough, and went to the reserve every day. I'm an avid birdwatcher and photographer. Took around 1,000 shots and got some real crackers!! (as well as some duffers). To my partners delight even got a puffin chick and parents, gorgeous. One of your staff said I had to beat his photograph of one parent and chick, I think I just pipped him. All staff were friendly and informative. Lastly the weather, like the reserve... ABSOLUTELY SUPERB !!!!

I quite enjoyed the trip as we were able to sucessfully see nearly all of the birds at the site. The staff were able to answer all the questions asked and the views were beautiful. I will definitely recomend it to anyone who enjoys birdwatching!

As a newcomer to birding and bird photography I was fascinated during my time spent here. I went home with nearly 300 photographs of the bird life at Bempton. I have also to mention that the staff at the visitor centre were superb. I found them friendly, approachable and always willing to help. Enthusiasts all of them! Well done Bempton.

Bempton Cliffs were well worth the visit. Absolutely stunning, and totally amazing. RSPB Staff couldn't have been more helpful and cheerful - thankyou.

Ruth Fraser

My first time bird watching - I'm hooked. Easy to identify birds with literature available on site, with the help of other visitors and the wardens. Can't wait to do some more birdwatching.

Elaine Broom

I visited the reserve with my secondary school and found that the view (apart from the mist) and the amount of birds were amazing. It was a great experience to see all of the birds flying to and from the cliffs. I really enjoyed the visit and found it very educational. Thank you very much!

Helen

A wet and windy day but the staff were cheerful and helpful - particularly those conducting the school parties. Some very good sightings with a great skua patrolling the cliffs - a life first for me. Thank you very much - the weather left a lot to be desired but the birds were great anyway.

Absolutely wonderful. We are RSPB members and this was our first trip to Bempton Cliffs. We loved it and saw our first puffins, fulmars, razorbills, etc. Breathtaking place, superb. We will be back again. Thank you so much. We had a superb time. Also went to flamborough head that was brilliant as well.

We took Jan's sister's family for their first visit and the help and interest shown from everyone at the centre with information, to the wardens with telescopes pointing out puffins etc for them to see was great. Needless to say they thoroughly enjoyed the day, they joined the RSPB and want to go again, so job well done. Thank you all.

Have just spent a week at Flamborough walking the cliffs and visiting Bempton. It was wonderful. We are so lucky to have these places.

Sylvia Sargison

Me and my dad went to Bempton and were amazed how many birds there were. The cliffs themselves were alive with birds, especially guillemots and gannets, we also saw puffins, fulmars, kittiwakes etc. We also looked at the bird table and saw loads of birds. It was great - we can't wait for next year!

Thomas Hopkinson

Excellent viewing, very helpful staff who also let us use the spotting scopes and told us about the birds.

Tim Slater

A superb day, and when the mist dispersed one of the best sights you could wish to see, rivalling the flamingos in the Camargue!
