This wide-open landscape is an ideal place to go throughout the year for a quiet, remote experience. It is the most important site in the Broads for breeding waders, and supports as many as 100,000 wintering waders and wildfowl, including lapwings, wigeons, pink-footed geese and golden plovers.

The reserve can be viewed at all times.
