Accessibility
The path is up and down in many places, and will be muddy during wet weather. Use of pushchairs and wheelchairs is not recommended.
This is a natural site with unimproved paths and trails - the access around this site may not be suitable for all visitors. If you have concerns, please contact the reserve or regional office before your visit to discuss your requirements.
Access to the information centre
The front entrance is accessed through double doors, which open both ways. Its not adapted for wheelchairs.
Access to the picnic area
The area around the picnic tables is uneven with a main unimproved path but it is suitable for pushchairs.
Car parking
Visitors can park in front of the information centre and adjacent to the picnic area, where there is ample parking space and no height restriction; the surface is rolled/compacted gravel.
Toilets
There are toilets to the rear of the information centre. No disabled toilets.
Refreshment and snacks
Unfortunately, there are no on-site facilities for purchasing food or drink at the reserve itself. The nearest outlets are 4 miles/6 Km away.
