Viewing points

We have placed eight benches around key areas of the reserve. Dragonflies and bulrushes are carved into one bench and give visitors a quiet place to look over the pond, a buzzard-shaped seat offers fantastic views over the valley and a chance to see soaring raptors, and a special story-telling bench in the woodland has carvings of beetles and other bugs.

Nature trails

There is one main trail loop of 1.5 miles (2.6 km). A shorter loop cuts through Clough Meadow - 1.3 miles (2.1 km). There is a short trail which is 0.5 mile (0.75 km) long. The footpaths get muddy during wet weather. The path is up and down in many places. Use of pushchairs and wheelchairs is not recommended.
