How to get here

By train

The nearest railway station is at Acklington.

By bus

Buses run from Alnwick to Ashington, stopping at Amble (Monday to Saturday).

By road

To get to Amble, turn off the A1 at Morpeth and follow the coastal route to Amble. Heading south, 4 miles south of Alnwick, take the turning signposted for Amble via Acklington. Both routes take you to the A1068 which runs through Amble.

Although landings are not permitted on Coquet Island, two boat operators run trips around the island from Easter to September.
