Nature trails

The Dubh Lochan Trail is easily accessed from the visitor centre and is a great way of seeing some amazing bog pools up close. It is 1 mile long and takes approximately 30 minutes to complete. It's easy walking, but unfortunately not wheelchair accessible. A trail guide leaflet is available from the visitor centre. The Forsinain Trail is a 4 mile (6.5 km) self-guided walk located a short 10 minute drive north of the visitor centre at Forsinard (Trail guide and information available). Please keep your dog on a short lead and under close control at all times. The Forsinain Trail is a Peatlands Partnership project with Scottish Natural Heritage and Forestry Commission Scotland.
