Nature trails

The main trail links the car park at Mainsgate Road with the sea wall and is a byway open to all traffic throughout its length, though the surface is rough for vehicular access. This provides a firm surface suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs. It is 1.4 miles (2.3 km) from the car park to the hide along this route. Other paths cross the central grassland area but are accessible only on foot.
