Fancy something different for your child's next birthday? Relax and let the team at RSPB Lochwinnoch organise a wild birthday party for you!
With our beautiful wetland reserve as your background, bird songs as a soundtrack and nature as an entertainer, it will be the party to remember. Our hands-on activities and arty crafts will provide loads of fun for your little guests. You can choose from a range of activities including pond-dipping, minibeast hunt, wildlife walk, treasure trail and more.
There are three themes to choose from:
- Enjoy woodland birds and wildlife in our Woodland Wonderland
- Discover creepy crawlies and beautiful bugs with our Minibeast Safari
- Find out what hides under (and around) water, with our Aquatic Adventure.
Parties usually last for two hours, with a one-hour outdoors activity, a 30-minute craft session and 30 minutes for refreshments, cakes etc. We do not provide food, so you will have to bring your own, but we will provide a decorated room, invitations and party bags if requested.
We also have a tailored offer for toddlers (under 4s) who might be too young to enjoy some of our activities. We provide access to a decorated room with toys, games, colouring sheets and a lovely view over our lochside meadow. The offer also includes a storytelling session and/or a short and easy walk on the reserve to watch birds and other wildlife.
