  1. Enjoy views of greylag geese at Burnfoot Drain mid February to mid April
  2. Take a serene stroll along the sea defences
  3. Look out for otters at Longfoot Point

  1. Look out for breeding lapwings chasing predators away from their fluffy chicks
  2. Can you spot snipe hiding in the vegetation?

  1. Look out for wading birds including little stints and curlew sandpipers at Ballykelly
  2. Come and see large flocks of whooper swans and pale-bellied brent geese
  3. Watch out for rarer birds amongst the flocks of migrants

  1. At lower tides you can see bar-tailed godwits and and other wading birds
  2. You may see glaucous and Iceland gulls on the mussel beds in winter
  3. Look out for flocks of twites
