There's something for everyone all year round at this delightful coastal reserve. In the spring you can see brown hares boxing in the fields, while in the early summer you'll spot nesting birds like avocets and lapwings.

Please note

Nels hide will be open again on Thursday January 29. Unfortunately due to recent vandalism we will now have to lock the hide every day using volunteer help. In the short term the times of locking and unlocking the hide will vary, please cooperate with RSPB volunteers when they are locking the hide and be patient regarding the times of unlocking. If you would like to volunteer your time to lock or unlock Nels hide please contact the RSPB warden at Marshside graham.clarkson@rspb.org.uk or 07793902622
