Building work has now finished for the Minsmere Discover Nature Project and the new Wild Zone and Wild Wood Adventure are open, offering a great day out for families as well as birdwatchers.

  1. Watch marsh harriers sky-dancing over the reedbed and listen for booming bitterns
  2. Listen to singing warblers and nightingales
  3. Watch sand martins skimming overhead whilst you enjoy a meal outside the tearoom

  1. Glimpse iridescent butterflies, dragonflies and damselflies close to the visitor centre
  2. Look for shingle-loving flowers and nesting little terns on the beach
