How to get here

By train

Lydney station, 3.75 miles (6 km) away. Take the B4234 north to Parkend. At Parkend, turn left onto B4431 signposted to Coleford. The reserve entrance is on the right on leaving Parkend village.

By bus

Parkend, by the cricket pitch/guesthouses. Buses run from Lydney Bus Station (circular), to the stop along the B4431 signposted to Coleford. The reserve entrance is on the right on leaving the village. For further bus information contact Gloucestershire Traveline on 0871 2002233.

By road

From Parkend, take the B4431 in a westerly direction towards Coleford and Nagshead is signposted on the right on leaving Parkend village. Parkend is situated 3.75 miles (6 km) north of Lydney on the B4234.

Other ways to get to the reserve

Access on foot to the site is possible from any direction as paths lead in from the adjacent Forest areas. Nagshead is linked to the extensive Forest-wide cycle trail.
