Nearest railway station

National Rail information, tel: 08457 484950. From Newport Railway Station in Kingsway (B4591) head towards Chepstow Road (B4237). Leave Kingsway (B4591) and head straightforward onto Chepstow Road (B4237). Leave Chepstow Road (B4237) and turn left into Corporation Road (A455). Leave Corporation Road (A455) and turn left into Spytty Road (A48). Enter the roundabout Nash Road Roundabout and leave at the third exit onto Nash Road. Stay on Nash Road for 0.93 miles. Leave Nash Road and turn right into Meadows Road. Leave Meadows Road and head straightforward onto Nash Road. Leave Nash Road and turn right into West Nash Road. Leave West Nash Road and turn left into the reserve.

Nearest bus stop

From Queensway Bus Station, Newport the Number 63 bus leaves at 7.30 am, 9 am, 11 am, 13 pm, 15 pm, 16.50 pm and 18 pm and stops at West Nash Community Hall. A 15-minute walk is then required to get to Newport Wetlands. The bus departs from West Nash Community Hall. Alternatively, contact Newport bus services, tel: 01633 263600.

By road

Newport Wetlands car park is on West Nash Road, between Nash Village and Uskmouth Power Station. From M4 Junction 24 take the A48 to Newport Retail Park then turn towards the steelworks and follow the brown 'duck' signs to the reserve car park.
