Viewing points
A hide is situated near the entrance to the reserve, equipped with a telescope. Information is also available at the hide.
Nature trails
The nature trail follows the coast line around Mull Head. It is not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs. Sturdy footwear and wet weather clothing is recommended. This walk is approximately three miles and takes about one and a half hours. Trail guides are available from the hide.
Educational facilities
Orkney is a stunning place in which to show young people in schools the wonderful wealth of wildlife and beautiful habitats to be found there. We can offer trips out to reserves and other sites, investigating wildlife within your school grounds, and fun activities within the classroom.
