This is a natural site with unimproved paths and trails - the access around this site may not be suitable for all visitors. If you have concerns, please contact the reserve or regional office before your visit to discuss your requirements.
All paths are flat, with ramps to the reedbed screens. Paths will be soft and muddy in winter. Although kissing gates are suitable for medium-sized wheelchairs, we would not recommend wheelchair access onto the site during the winter months.
If wheelchair users would still like to visit during this time, please be aware this should only be attempted by the adventurous or motorised wheelchair user.
