Excellent reserve. Peaceful and relaxing, easy to spend all day just watching and listening to all the birds.

Steve Cotterill

Weather was terrible in the week running up to the trip. But crossing Snowdonia, the blue skies began to appear. Ynys-hir is an amazing place, the landscapes are stunning. Where else can you see peregrines, red kites and hen harriers from one hide?

Carl Jervis

I went to Ynys-hir with school, so much fun, holding tadpoles in your hand, beautiful place is WALES!

Hannah

A very nice reserve. I live in south Wales and it is a bit of a journey but well worth it.

Alison Nye

Told wife I would be about 2 hours. It took me 90 mins to reach 1st hide. Wood warblers, pied flycatchers and redstarts hindered my progress - awesome. Coming again next weekend to make a whole day of it.
