Enjoy the glory of spring at an RSPB reserve

Young girl walking with family on reserve

It's an exciting time of year, when everything seems to be bursting with life and enthusiasm.

It's infectious too - there's nothing better than taking some time to be outside and enjoy the atmosphere of spring.

Our nature reserves are great places to learn more about birds and wildlife, enjoy a walk and take a break from life's hectic schedule.

We've got many different types of reserves across the UK, from small, quiet places to enjoy a stroll to larger reserves with birdwatching hides, miles of easy-going footpaths, tearooms for refreshments and shops.

Our bigger reserves are listed on our great days out page, whilst you can look through all our reserves to find the one nearest you on our reserves by location page.
