In the cold winter months insects, fruits and seeds can be hard for birds to find and they may struggle to find enough to eat. This is why we put food out for them in our gardens, parks and schools.

Different birds like to eat different foods. If you put out a mix of foods, it is more likely that lots of different birds will come to your school grounds to feed.
