Be careful of nesting birds

Your gardens will be an active place with birds nesting so please keep an eye out for them and avoid trimming hedges and bushes. You can help by leaving out materials they can use for making their nests such as hay/straw and even fluff from rugs or hair from a brush!

Feed the birds!

Winter is now upon us and frost or snow could be covering the ground. This makes it harder for birds to find food especially during prolonged periods of cold weather. Put out kitchen scraps, fruit and a good supply of high energy bird food to keep the feeders topped up. Also make sure fresh water available.
