Love Nature Collection Week
Love nature? Help us raise money for it!
Love Nature Week 2010, 29 May - 5 JunePlease just give two hours of your time, or more if you wish in 2010! We will again be holding collections across Scotland, our Midlands , East and South East regions and are looking for volunteers to collect for at least two hours in your local town or city centre during ‘Love Nature Week’. In 2009, we had hundreds of volunteers out raising thousands of pounds for nature and in 2010, we want even more! We will provide you with absolutely everything you need and we have already booked hundreds of collection permits, I am sure there will be one near you. If you don't have collections in your region you could always open you garden, organise a cake sake or give out pins at your wedding, in fact anything else you fancy doing to raise money for nature during ‘Love Nature Week’ (or another time if you prefer). 'We have thousands of fundraising volunteers and they really are doing an amazing job.' We really need your help – it is only with the support of people like you that we can continue our conservation work, saving wildlife and habitats. We have thousands of fundraising volunteers and they really are doing an amazing job of raising money and awareness. All the money you raise will be spent on nature conservation in your local region. 'I just wanted to say thank you for letting me take part in the first ever Love Nature Week collection - it was fantastic and I enjoyed the whole process!' Ben Evetts, a 2009 ‘Love Nature Week' Collector. To register you interest or if you would like to receive the updates - please contact Natallie Walters on 01767 693412. What can I do?You don't only have to stand on a street with a bucket to raise money - there are lots of other things you can do. It's easy! Last modified: 14 October 2009 |
