Fundraising Websites

We're registered with several useful websites that help you do your fundraising online.
You can create your own webpage and raise money for the RSPB online by sharing a link to all your friends, family, and colleagues.
The websites collect the payments, process the Gift Aid claims on behalf of the RSPB, and transfer the money directly to the RSPB less their fees.
You can choose from Just Giving, Virgin Money Giving, and BT MyDonate. There are different fees charged by the different websites. Whichever site you choose, we hope you have a great time fundraising for nature and the RSPB. Thank you.

Fees charged by the websites
Just Giving charge a card processing fee 1.3% on credit cards and a 17p flat fee on debit cards. They charge a transaction fee of 5% (they call this a gift aid fee). So if paying by debit card the charges on a £10 donation would be 67p. Just Giving also charge charities £15 per month to maintain registration.
Virgin Money Giving charge a card processing fee of 1.45% on all cards except American Express which is 1.6%. They charge a transaction fee of 2%. So on most cards the charges on a £10 donation would total 34.5p.
BT Mydonate charge credit or debit card fees at 13p or 15p depending on the card on a £10 donation. There are no other fees or charges.
