    For every household signing up to RSPB Energy, £20 will be donated to the RSPB (£10 for an electricity account and £10 for a gas account; you can sign up for either or both). An additional £10 (£5 for electricity and £5 for gas) will be contributed each year you remain with the scheme. These funds are used to acquire and manage land for nature reserves, to provide a future for wildlife endangered by the effects of climate change.
  • RSPB Energy helps the environment
     RSPB Energy promotes renewable energy: every unit of electricity you buy will be matched with electricity generated from renewable sources. What's more, some of the money raised by RSPB Energy goes into a fund to invest in renewable energy projects on RSPB nature reserves. Generating electricity from renewable sources is a cleaner, greener alternative to burning fossil fuels (which releases huge amounts of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, increasing the risk of climate change).
