In Memoriam

View across the pool and reedbed at the RSPB Lakenheath Fen nature reserve

A donation to the RSPB is a wonderful tribute to anyone who loved nature. Every donation in memory of a loved one will help the birds and other wildlife from which they derived so much enjoyment.

Here are just a few examples of what can be achieved from donations in memory:

  • A donation of £100 has enabled us to create and manage 200 square metres of reedbed for threatened species including the bittern
  • A donation of £300 has paid for a 15 m pathway for disabled visitors, giving better access to birds and wildlife

There are many ways to give in memory. For example, you could make a donation to the RSPB instead of buying flowers for a funeral. You can make a one-off donation at any time, or you can donate on a regular basis, for instance to commemorate a loved one's birthday or an anniversary.

If you'd like to make a donation in memory, please contact Samantha Hallett, Memoriam Legacy Officer, on 01767 693278 or e-mail: samantha.hallett@rspb.org.uk. Alternatively, you can write to her at The RSPB, The Lodge, Sandy, Bedfordshire, SG19 2DL.
