The Nature of Scotland Awards are designed to recognise and celebrate excellence, innovation and outstanding achievement in Scottish nature conservation.
Scotland is renowned worldwide for its beautiful wild places and abundant wildlife. We must work hard to preserve this precious natural heritage, celebrating success stories and protecting that which is under real threat.
This is the second year of the awards. With more than 90 outstanding entries last year, we cannot wait to see what Scotland has to offer this year.
We are delighted to be hosting these awards which will recognise the very best efforts made for the benefit of nature conservation in Scotland. The challenges involved in protecting and nurturing Scotland’s special places and iconic species are ever more pressing.
The awards are now closed for entries. Thank you to those that took the time to support this initiative - we received over 70 entries! The shortlist will be announced 18 June at the Garden Lobby of the Scottish Parliament.
The winners will be presented with their Awards at a black tie dinner at the prestigious Sheraton Grand Hotel, in Edinburgh, on 30 October. If you would like any information, from booking a table at the awards ceremony to how you can be involved in the Awards next year please email awards@rspb.org.uk or call 0131 317 4100.
