This lowland rainforest is home to spectacular birds and amazing wildlife such as the endangered Sumatran tiger and clouded leopards. The RSPB and its partners are protecting and restoring it by buying logging rights to a huge area of rainforest.

Guns, traps and poisoned bait are used to kill wonderful birds in this country and threaten the survival of magnificent birds like the white-tailed eagle and hen harrier. RSPB wildlife investigators work to stop this madness and bring the killers to justice.

Every year tens of thousands of albatrosses are killed through longline fishing. The RSPB and Birdlife International have set up the Albatross Task Force team to work with fishermen to prevent these tragic and unnecessary deaths.
