Parent Toddler Group Organisers - Sandwell Valley Nature Reserve

Sandwell Valley

Why we want you

We need enthusiastic and friendly volunteers to help organise a parent toddler group which runs weekly at the nature reserve. Activities with the children will be run by a member of staff we need help in:
setting up and putting away toys
keeping a register
making people feel welcome
organising refreshments

What’s in it for you?

You will gain experience in environmental youth work with the very young. The role could develop or stay at a simple level depending on your interest. The RSPB is an active and exciting conservation charity, the largest in Europe! We can help you gain skills and give you a valuable insight into our work. You will become part of our valuable nature reserve team.

The skills you need

Very little experience needed, just be prepared to get involved. Experience of playing with young children and chatting to parents. A well organised approach will help everyone but most important is to be welcoming, friendly and approachable.

Your time
