Why we want you
To ensure that all our visitors have a pleasurable and interesting time and encourage them to support the RSPB by joining and purchasing from our reserve shop. The duties include meeting and greeting our visitors, chatting and selling to our visitors, membership recruitment, handling money and the care and presentation of the shop and its stock. You may also be asked to assist with the processing of stock from a shop delivery. By volunteering in the shop, you will help us present the RSPB in a friendly and professional manner. This will increase both visitors' enjoyment and our income for the benefit of wildlife conservation.
What’s in it for you?
Opportunity to meet people, gain new skills and assist the work of the RSPB. An opportunity to help our customers and gain an insight into the operation of a shop in the tourism field.
The RSPB is an active and exciting wildlife conservation charity, the largest in Europe! We can help you gain skills and give you a valuable insight into our work. 100% of our shop profits go back into conservation. Nature is amazing-help us keep it that way.
