Team Challenge - Conquer the invaders at Ynys Hir!

Ynys Hir

Why we want you

The project to restore the raised bog habitat at Covert Coch is the largest and most important of its kind in mid-Wales. To encourage the regeneration of bog plants such as bog rosemary, sphagnum mosses and cotton grass, we need your help to remove invasive rhododendron and birch seedlings.

What’s in it for you?

If you're looking for a novel idea for your organisation's team away day then look no further that RSPB Cymru's nature reserves. We offer an unusual and cost-effective alternative to the myriad of outdoor corporate challenge days now on offer. You may become wardens for a day or get involved in some unusual activities to raise funds or to further the RSPB's objectives. A great way to promote teamwork, boost morale and make a positive contribution to the environment and the local community.
