This is a vital way to raise valuable funds to assist RSPB Cymru's nature and wildlife conservation work. Your time and skills could make a real difference; one volunteer can raise £1,000 a year. Nature is amazing; help us keep it that way!

This is a vital way to raise valuable funds to assist RSPB Cymru's nature and wildlife conservation work. We can help you gain skills, and give you an insight into our work whilst you help conserve nature for the future and enjoy yourself!
All RSPB materials will be provided, as well as training if required and a visit to your local nature reserve! Even though the post is unpaid expenses will be reimbursed where necessary.
The skills you need
Friendly, self motivated and confident person required to manage a network of volunteers in their local area. The right person will be independent, customer focused and happy to work off his or her own initiative.
A volunteer Leader is required to recruit a group of volunteers who will promote the works of RSPB Cymru, and raise funds by organizing fundraising events and activities. As the Leader you will also be required to chair monthly meetings, assist with the events and activities planned, and keep the RSPB Cymru community fundraising team up to date!
Your time
Minimum commitment: 8-10 hours a month. Initial 2 day training course.
Duration: Maximum 5 year term of office
Period: All year round
