Wildlife Explorer Group Assistant Leader-Minsmere
Minsmere Work Centre
Why we want you
Young people are tomorrow's conservationists and helping them to discover the wonders of nature and to develop a passion for wildlife is a key area of our work. Minsmere's new Discovery Zone has now opened and provides a new location for Minsmere's wonderful Wildlife Explorer group. We are looking for new leaders to work with the other leaders to plan and facilitate exciting activities.
What’s in it for you?
This is an excellent opportunity for you to gain experience with Europe's largest conservation charity. This will be a challenging, yet incredibly rewarding volunteering opportunity. You will be offered the chance to go on a training course specifically aimed at youth leaders and reasonable travel expenses can be reimbursed for travelling to Minsmere.
The skills you need
We are looking for enthusiastic leaders for our Minsmere Wildlife Explorers group - a wildlife club for children. You don't need to be an expert on birds but an enthusiasm for the natural world and a willingness to share this with the next generation is a must.
