Why we want you

To assist the Manchester People Engagement Officer in increasing the support RSPB receives through membership by attending shows and events throughout Greater Manchester. RSPB membership is vital to the continuing success of the organisation, funding the nature conservation work we do at home and abroad.

The skills you need

You'll need to have the confidence and ability to initiate conversation with strangers and be comfortable asking for money and support. You should have the ability to talk passionately about the RSPB's work and use this to generate support from others. A people focused person, who is target driven to achieve results, as well as physically fit to attend shows and set up displays.

Your time

Minimum commitment: One day per month, weekends preferred
Duration: Ongoing
Period: All year round

Notes

Training on specifics of RSPB membership and our conservation work will be provided. Travel expenses to events can also be paid.
